The Hoosier Triangle?

If the FlightAware tracker is to be believed, my parents’ flight from Hartford to Chicago appears to have done some bizarre loop-de-loops over Indiana, not far from South Band.

I wonder what that’s all about? Some sort of vortex caused by Northern Indiana becoming the center of the political universe? Evasive maneuvers to avoid being impacted by the ongoing Rust Belt economic s**tstorm? Interference caused by Charlie Weis’s massive gravitational field? We report, you decide!

Anyway, they’re safely on the ground at Midway. Up next, the flight to Denver.

Just congestion at O’Hare. You really can’t get within 100 miles of ORD or MDW without someone having to open a slot for you. I’ve even sat on the runway at places like Champaign waiting just to take off so we could fit into the landing patterns.

At least they got to look at the stadium while doing doughnuts over campus.

I had a dream last night that someone commented on this post and complained about my joke at Charlie Weis’s expense.

    That’s right: I’m dreaming about Domer blog-trolls. 🙂
