South Carolina 6, fourth-ranked Ole Miss 3 in the third quarter. It’s a war!

Now 9-3!!
I haven’t been watching the game, so in fairness, I can’t really express an opinion on the age-old “good defense or bad offense?” question — but I do note, in passing of course, that South Carolina allowed Georgia to score 41 points, and gave up 16 points to Florida Atlantic.

OMG A TOUCHDOWN!!!!

This just proves that its a war, my friends.
Any. Given. Thursday.

Heh.
Actually, I think this falls under the Steve Spurrier Rule, namely, Spurrier’s Gamecocks will always upset one ranked team every year… then go 6-3 or 5-4 or whatever in conference play.
This could also be called the Inconsistent Cocks rule.

Excuse me… I guess that should be “SEC on ESPN” announcers

Ever notice that one USC is the ‘cocks, and the other is the Trojans?

I have indeed.
And I blame Obama.

Now 16-10. Damn. The final score will be less mockable than hoped.
Aaaaaand ESPN’s announcers have decided this means South Carolina is clearly a Top 15 team.
*sigh*
Did I miss the part where Washington’s upset of USC meant it’s clearly a Top 15 team?

Speaking of mockable, that Snead touchdown pass was really something. I’m having a hard time focusing: is it funniest that Snead dropped back and collided with his fullback? Or that he then threw a wounded duck into the South Carolina night? Or that his receiver ran a simple deep post and easily got behind South Carolina’s safeties, who were protecting a 13-point fourth quarter lead?
How about this: that play looked like a bunch of guys that neither Toledo nor Bowling Green would have any interest in!

It may be a WAR, but it’s a really boring one.

Thought of another one:
The SEC is a war!
(then again, so was this.)
