I’m with Dane here. Every program has horrible years.
The year after they won Super Bowl Extra Large, the Pittsburgh Steelers put together a 8-8 campaign, missing the playoffs entirely. Not how we envisioned our title defense.
Fortunately, they bounced back, and a couple of years later, are putting together a much better title defense. 😀 So there’s hope for USC. But sitting through the bad season just stinks, especially when you reach the point of no return, when you know your high hopes are dashed, but there are several games left to watch.
