Alas, dear readers, I’ve already fallen behind in writing my “Brendan’s Defining Days of the Decade” series. I know you’re shocked. 🙂 So, my write-up of entry #10 on the list will be delayed until (hopefully) sometime tomorrow.
It’s possible that #9 and #8 will consequently be pushed back by a day as well. Luckily, I’ll have time to catch up: I’ll be in Phoenix for Christmas, arriving on Tuesday night. Woohoo! I should be back on schedule by Christmas Eve at the latest.
In the mean time, if you haven’t already, you can read about Defining Days #12 and #11, in the proper (descending) order, here.
I’m supposed to be in Phoenix on Christmas too! Unfortunately, the weather forecast has gone steadily downhill over the past 48 hours, and now Iowa is supposed to get pretty much every type of precipitation imaginable from early Wednesday morning through Friday.
So it’s an open question where I’ll actually wake up on Christmas morning – Iowa, Texas, or Arizona – and that’s if I can get to the airport in the first place.
