We’re in for one in Pittsburgh as well. Another Super Bowl . . . another following that Super Bowl with completely missing the playoffs.
Its weird to not have the Black and Gold in the playoffs. It feels downright wrong, like if USC didn’t make a bowl game. Of course, it is easier to make a bowl game then to make the NFL playoffs, but that’s how it feels. And while most of us don’t lose our heads, there will be calls to blow up the team, fire the offensive coordinator (which I think should be done) and to fire the head coach (ummmm, no). Also, somebody will wander in and claim that we should trade Sidney Crosby while we can, before he’s proven to be a bust in the NHL (for the record, the Pens won the Stanley Cup last year). He will be put into a padded room, and scolded for intruding on the wrong conversation of crazies. The Hockey Crazies meet a block down the road, buddy.
