Stop by tonight at 6:00 PM Mountain Time (8pm Eastern) for a Living Room Times live blog/chat during the BCS “National Championship” Game!
We’ll talk Texas, we’ll talk Bama, we’ll talk Pick ’em, we’ll talk playoff, we’ll talk whatever we feel like talking about. We’ll act as a de facto support group, as we collectively mourn the end of college football season. And, for the first time, the “live blog” and “live chat” will be in the same window, thanks to Cover It Live’s beta “Open Chat Option,” which I’ll be trying out. (Caveat: to chat, you’ll have to “log in” via either the Facebook or Twitter API.)
P.S. Here’s my Facebook message promoting the event:
Hey everybody,
Tonight at my blog, The Living Room Times, I’ll be hosting a Live Blog & Live Chat during BCS Title Game between Alabama and Texas. We’ll talk about the game, we’ll talk about the Pick ’em Contest, we’ll gripe about the lack of a playoff, we’ll make fun of Tim Tebow (even though he’s not playing), and we’ll mourn the end of college football season together. There will be interactive polls; there will be rampant silliness; there will be blood. (Okay… maybe no blood.) Anyway, it’ll be a fun time. And it all starts at 8:00 PM Eastern / 7:00 PM Central / 6:00 PM Mountain / 5:00 PM Pacific.
Just stop by http://www.brendanloy.com/ tonight while you’re watching the game, and join us! Hook ’em Tide! Roll Horns!
(Oh – and I’ll probably be doing one of these Live Blog/Chats for the State of the Union address too. Stay tuned!)
