I’m glad that Obama is getting back to what’s important instead of that stupid healthcare and economy issue. How did that “No Child Left Behind” program work? Is Obama funding that or is he going to repeal that too?
David K.
Yes because the President can only spend time on one issue. Clearly he can’t call for the repeal of Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell while also working on health care and the economy.
Sandy, did you eat paint chips when you were a child?

DK, I think your the one that should seek Obamacare for the lead in your brain. The Obama administration (and congress (AND the senate)) have been firmly pushing Healthcare reform for the last 12 months, it’s totally over-shadowed EVERYTHING going on in the country. Fighting retarded republican news channels and teagaggers and what not to try and push Healthcare through. They just forget that when it comes down to it the Demoncrats are nothing but a bunch of cowards that scared of their own shadow when they have to sack it up and finally pass an unpopular (with retards) bill. Now the focus of this administration for one year is totally down the tubes and will never be passed.
Meanwhile Obama thought about sending more troops to Afghanistan for 3 months during the fall. I’d normally laude such a deliberation, but since he concluded that it was a good idea to send an additional 30,000 troops, I’ll go with he’s as bad as Bush. This is after he sent 20,000 additional troops back in March 2009, So Operation: Vietnam III is in effect.
BTW, the economy is in the toilet (is an understatement), nearly 11% unemployment, 3.5 million Americans in Foreclosure on their homes, and the President GAVE $750 Billion to corporate banks, no strings attached, so they could clean up their books and do absolutely nothing for American citizens. I want gays in the military more than anyone else, but ya know I wouldn’t mention it at this speech.
As for your notion that the president can spend time on more than one issue, first you have to name one thing he succeeded at before I’ll agree with you on that. And succeeding at inflating your utilities bill by about 300% in a couple years, doesn’t count.
