Really, it’s all about me

In March 2006, Becky and I went to St. Louis to watch “Arch Madness,” a.k.a. the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. Two weeks later, a pair of MVC teams that we saw play in a semifinal — Wichita State and Bradley — made the Sweet Sixteen.

In February 2007, Becky and I went to the BracketBusters game at Hinkle Fieldhouse between Butler and Southern Illinois. A month later, both teams made the Sweet Sixteen.

In November 2009, Kristy and I went to the University of Denver’s Magness Arena to see the D.U. Pioneers host mid-major powerhouse Northern Iowa.

Four months later… well, you know what happened.

Any aspiring mid-major Cinderellas interested in giving me free tickets to come see their games, I can be reached at irishtrojan [at] gmail.com. 🙂

Hmm. Free tickets are awfully expensive ;-). But if you wind your way to Ames or Cedar Falls sometime, let me know.
