Ever since the Beltway blizzards, I’ve been making #snowpocalypse jokes whenever we get a flurry in Denver. But, in all seriousness, it’s pretty intense out there right now. When I left work, it was just starting to snow, with some thunder to boot, but with no accumulation yet. Just over four hours later, it looked like this:
It’s been a crazy week: after temps in the 60s much of last week, we had a big snow on Friday, followed by an absolutely gorgeous Sunday and Monday, again in the 60s, followed by… this. Here’s a temperature graph:
Man, I’m so jealous. I love the snow. This winter has been awesome here in DC, although I have to say living in the city (as opposed to basically on the beltway… ie on an above ground metro stop) would be so much better. As all my friends in the city enjoyed drink specials and snowboarding in the city, we got stuck out here with now power. 🙂
See, this just proves/disproves global warming! There is no way global warming can be happening/not happening with this snow on the ground in March!!!
This winter was awesome? You obviously didn’t have to do much of the shoveling!
