Oh, whoops, I thought this was the thread on dead lybians.

You are one sick bastard Sandy, I mean I knew you were crazy, but now I know you are downright depraved.

David K – in *this* context, “lol” stands for “lachrymose over libyans” … and it is heartless, just *heartless*, of you to give the sorry Sandy Underpants grief for his public display of lachrymose late libyan lamentation !

There is at least one cause to celebrate, related to this particular crash – and that is that there is one survivor – a 10 year old kid …

In all candor my originial “LOL” was just a goofy whim on a stagnant blog. However, after DK posted, I thought semi-seriously about this topic and concluded that, I am glad when Muslims die. Now, I’m against murdering muslims like our heroes in the military do every single day (and I’m also against raping them and the rest of the stuff our heroes do to them), but if Muslims die in an accident… an act of god, if you will, I think that’s a good thing. Good for humanity and good for the muslims who died.
My observations over the past decade is that Muslims welcome death and look forward to it in fact so that they can go to heaven. Unilke Christians who’s faith is extremely weak and fear death more than anyone else I’ve ever observed.
So to these muslims on Libya Air, I say Salam Malakum, and I don’t feel bad about losing them in the least, in fact I feel better having lost them.
Thoughts?

And what if only 13 of the 103 crash victims were Libyans, you thick fuck.

I think comments 1, 3 and 7 effectively make the case for comment moderation (or, at least, the post hoc deletion of comments).
But that, quite obviously, isn’t my call.

If I’d been monitoring the blog more closely during the last few days, I might have deleted said comments, but I’ve been on vacation, and didn’t read this whole thread until now. At this point, I think I will leave up the referenced comments as monuments to their own stupidity.

Fair enough.
