RT @raphiellej: Point blank USC needs to fire AD Mike Garrett. Don’t care if he won a Heisman. That’s a lack of institutional control penalty.

Bad logic. If Garrett was to resign, it should have been alongside Tim Floyd last year. Resigning now completely and negatively alters USC’s posture vis-a-vis the sanctions being handed down today. Either our case is legit or it isn’t, and USC would’ve known one way or the other years ago and should’ve fired Garrett then.
So, fire Garrett the day after the appeal is over?
The report that comes out today should be sufficient to determine if Garrett should have been fired or not.
Right, but it sounds like what you’re saying is that if we fire Garrett now, we undermine our appeal. So what I’m saying is, fine, delay the accountability for strategic purposes if necessary, but as soon as it’s no longer necessary, THEN fire him.
I mean, this is approaching Ray Nagin territory. How can he remain the A.D.???
