I blame Bush!! RT @plh55: USC should go after @Reggie_Bush in civil court for lost bowl revenues, loss of reputation, etc.

Carroll too. I think it’s pretty obvious why he left now.
It sucks that USC’s current players have to be punished while the actual culprits are in the NFL making millions. The message is loud and clear: cheating pays.

Yeah. Obviously, I only said “I blame Bush” because of the political double entendre. However … well, let’s see what the report says, but yeah, Carroll’s looking a bit like a villain. As my earlier headline says, this forever tarnishes the Carroll Era.

Well, I can think of at least one person that needs to be fired: MIKE BREY.
I’m also very disappointed in Obama’s response to this crisis. Did you incorporate all of this into your Grand Unified Theory of PANIC!!!?
Oh, in other news, USC is officially coming to Boulder on a (somewhat) regular basis. Colorado is the first to announce they are going to the Pac-10 . . . err, the Pac-11 now.

Is Colorado going to be in USC’s division? I thought they were going to be in the the Pac-20 East with Texas, A&M, Tech, Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma, Ok. St., K-state, etc. Seems the more things change, the more they stay the same. At least the winner of the Big-12 (Pac-20 East) will play USC every season, which means Colorado won’t play USC but once every 10 years when the intra-conference rotation puts them together.

@Sandy, actually it would be twice every 8 years. With a 16 team conference you play 7 division games and 2 non-division games each season (plus 3 non-conf games). With each division consisting of 8 teams that means it only takes a given team, say USC four years to play all 8 Pac-East teams if they rotate through with two different teams each year, or the more likely scenario, they play AT Colorado one year and then home against them the next year.
Example
USC 2012
@Washington
vs Washington State
@Oregon State
vs Oregon
@ Cal
vs Stanford
vs UCLA
@ Colorado
vs Texas Tech
USC 2013
vs Washington
@ Washington State
vs Oregon State
@ Oregon
vs Cal
@ Stanford
@ UCLA
vs Colorado
@ Texas Tech

Incidentally I think scheduling will likely be done in pairs. You play both Oklahoma schools for 2 years, then Texas and AM for 2, then Arizona and ASU for 2, then Colorado and Texas Tech for 2, although they might mix up the pairings i suppose.
If Texas A&M bolts for the SEC, I’d be happy to take Utah instead. Everyone agree with that?

What boggles my mind is that the NCAA took much weaker self imposed sanctions as good enough for the basketball team on a much more egregious and, you know, provable violations. This is really sick. It’s all those retards in the SEC having trouble coming to grips with the fact that they actually kind of suck.

Indeed. Can we pin the collapse of the Big 12 on Mike Brey? Because he so needs to be fired!
I mean, he is certainly behind ND not going to the Big Eleven. It is obvious! FIRE MIKE BREY!!!
