WAC could stay at 8, try and boot strap up some D1-AA teams, or try and convince Sun Belt or Conference USA teams to join them. Given the membership of Louisianna Tech the “West” in Western Athletic Conference appears to involve anything west of the Mississippi.

Only network allowed to carry the regents meeting was Nebraska Educational Television, whose servers promptly crashed. To make matters worse, WOWT, the NBC affiliate in Omaha, has lost its broadcast antenna!
