You might want to put more than 140 characters into your analysis of this one. It’s not like you’ve got a long history of calling for his resignation/termination and it seems a bit precipitous. Maybe Garrett should go, but I’d like to see some reasoning before he gets thrown under the bus, falls on his sword, or takes one for the team.
Take a look at the report. The “lack of institutional control” charge is not exactly cut-and-dried. Bush left the license number and location of the purchase off his vehicle registration, the school didn’t follow up on it – that’s evidence of lack of control?
If the institutional control is so bad, how did SC come up with sufficient and acceptable self-imposed penalties for basketball and tennis?
