Heh. Then Matt Leinart will have two in a row. But wait, Leinart’s team played zero NCAA-recognized games that year, so he can’t win it either. BRADY QUINN WINS THE 2005 HEISMAN TROPHY!!!

I think Texas needs to be stripped of their National title from that year… That means USC won… wait no… hmm…

Penn State is the 2005 national champions!

But wait, Notre Dame is 10-1 heading into the bowls, because the USC loss got vacated. And they are, as Les Miles might say, “undefeated in regulation”!! Only loss was to Michigan State in OT. Sure, they lost to Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl, but that game never happens if USC and Texas are both disqualified — instead it’s ND vs. PSU for the national title. GOOOO IRISH! BEEEEAT LIONS!
🙂

Sorry man, vacating those wins doesn’t change the outcome of the rest of the games. Notre Dame didn’t end up ranked 3rd in the polls, so it doesn’t get bumped up to first, Penn State does. It’s like in the Olympics or other sports, if the places above you get disqualified you don’t redo the events, you just move everyone up a spot.

FRAUD! cried the maddened thousands, and the echo answered FRAUD!

Also, any emotions that you felt during the 2006 Rose Bowl between USC and Texas are hereby retroactively declared invalid.

Wait… Becky and I were introduced at our wedding reception — five days before the Rose Bowl — to the strains of “Conquest” playing on the stereo system, and as we entered the room, we yelled “BEAT!! THE LONGHORNS!!” Does this mean our marriage is invalid too?

Your marriage should be valid for now, as we aren’t allowed to comment on an ongoing investigation.

Your marriage remains valid dude to the ND tickets loop hole. But the reception never happened.
Let’s take away his Heisman.
