RT @jtannenwald: My god. “LeBron James will announce the team with which he will sign during a one-hour special on ESPN Thursday night.” http://is.gd/di6FA
RT @jppalm: an HOUR? a full HOUR?? What the ^$&! are they going to do for an hour??? This could be the worst hour of programming in the history of TV.
RT @ArashMarkazi: As long as we’re comparing this to college recruiting, Jimmy Clausen rolling in a stretch Hummer to the CFB HOF thinks LeBron is too much.

The context is the surrounding posts/tweets. Talking about LeBron James’s ESPN special.
There… I consolidated some of yesterday’s tweets so they make more sense on the blog.
I am brainstorming about a long-term solution to this “cascading tweets” problem. It’s a difficult issue. I already exclude some tweets from the blog by typing *# … but I’d like to come up with a way to display the tweets I do include more sensibly, and perhaps somehow limit the ones that appear on the main blog timeline to true “breaking news” type tweets, and, ideally, automatically consolidate tweets about the same topic into a single post. But it’s difficult to do all that automatically, and I’m not a programmer. But I’m working on it. (Mentally, at least.)
Twitter is turning our nation into scatterbrains 🙂
Whoa…is THAT what the *# is?! I just thought it was some Loy-meme that was going over my head.
