See, this another problem I have with Twitter, the complete lack of context or way to find it unless you happen to follow all the parties involved in these cascades of retweets…
The context really has nothing to do with the retweets in this case. It’s just that pretty much everyone was simultaneously talking about the LeBron James ESPN special, so the context was obvious. I suppose it becomes less obvious when the posts appear on a blog which is then viewed the next morning…
Part of the problem, too, in this particular case, is that I was also simultaneously tweeting about the Texas Rangers fan who fell from the upper deck, so there are several of those tweets above this tweet, which provides the necessary context.
