The 47% are factually incorrect, sure, but that’s immaterial since Obama voted for TARP and supported / participated in the execution of it (it was largely Bush and Congressional Dems against Congressional Republicans).
Meh. Pretty poor evidence that “voters don’t really know why they’re so angry.” It’s the spending, stupid.
According to that Pew poll, Democrats are just as likely as Republicans to say TARP was passed under Obama. You’d think more of the self-described reality-based community would be immune to all that “conservative demagoguery.”
