Also from @VandalNation, indications of Hawaii, LaTech potentially leaving WAC. If either leaves, WAC is dead w/o waiver; need 6 core teams.

So Hawaii and LaTech both leave the WAC which leaves Idaho, New Mexico State, San Jose State, and Utah State flopping in the wind.
Does the Mountain West look to add any of them for free? I could see a push from the Cal State people to include San Jose State along with Fresno State, and Idaho isn’t that bad, certainly better than Colorado State and New Mexico in recent years.
Maybe the Sun Belt wants to add a couple, or alternatively C-USA if Houston, UTEP or SMU leave for the Mountain West?
Possibly the teams float in the wind for a year or two before landing somewhere, or suck it up and drop back down to AA?
Or you try and reboot the conference with some poaches from the lower ecehlons of the MW, and some of the western most stragles of Conf-USA and the Sun Belt + 1AA schools like the California, Texas and Montana schools?
Yikes, this was so much simpler with the Pac-10/Big12/Big Ten/Notre Dame scenarios!
