It reminds me of how the West Coast has been supposed to be experience the “BIG ONE” earthquake since before I was born. Sure it might happen, but it seems like for all the talk its never as bad as it seems.

Well I’ll believe the economy is bad when I see some proof.

As for LA and “The Big One”, perfect example of man-made fear. You don’t know when, you don’t know where, but you know it will happen. Meanwhile a zillion people die in Indonesia, Thailand, Haiti, Mexico, South America, and Pakistan (right off the top of my head) from earthquakes and other natural disasters nobody saw coming.

Jesus freaking Christ….how bad does it have to get for you to call it bad?

I was actually mocking Phil Gramm, McCain’s top economic adviser back in July 2008 who said, “We have sort of become a nation of whiners, You just hear this constant whining, complaining about a loss of competitiveness, America in decline. Misery sells newspapers, Thank God the economy is not as bad as you read in the newspaper every day.”

The article is pretty hillarious to illustrate how out of touch the Republicans and McCain are with the rest of the country. God forbid they admit things are bad under a Republican president.
