    Lame analysis. You can’t play the “what if” game like that and ignore the “numerous stupid mistakes and missed opportunities” on the USC side of things. Sure, it could’ve been UVA 27, USC 17, but it also could have been USC 34, UVA 7.

    Right, of course, but when you’re the inferior team, and the superior team gives you an opening, and you fail to seize it, it’s infuriatingly frustrating for fans. Whereas for USC, which expected to win, the fact that they made some mistakes yet still won is hardly a surprise.
