I don’t understand the consternation about Geraghty’s tweet, it made perfect sense to me. All he’s saying is that Castle is so far left for a Republican, he makes McCain look like DeMint, and that O’Donnell is so much on the fringe of electability that she makes Angle look like Thatcher (Thatcher being a thoroughly conservative politician who was nevertheless able to win over a UK that is definitely less conservative-friendly than America).
