I know, I mean, it’s soooooo tough to beat Kentucky — a team that lost to Ole Miss, which lost to Jacksonville State — the week after playing Alabama.
Look, we can debate hypotheticals until the cows come home, but the fact is, Boise State has done absolutely nothing to earn the reputation that it couldn’t win consistently against an “big boy schedule” week in and week out. It’s simply unknowable how they’d do against such a schedule, but there is no affirmative reason to believe they wouldn’t do well. In light of that, it really shouldn’t be a factor that plays into the discussion at all. It’s purely speculative and has no bearing on anything.
