Funny you should feel the necessity to make that sidebar comment, given that in both recent senatorial elections (Washington, Minnesota), there were plenty of questionable occurrences that merited investigation. I’ll let the hyper-partisans argue over whether or not they rose to the level of outright fraud and/or materially affected the outcome of the race, but they certainly took place, and I have little doubt we’ll see similar shenanigans in IL, NV, CA, and wherever else there might be a close race.
