DU Men’s Basketball Sees Huge Attendance Increase
They’re ranked #10 in the country. (#1: BYU. The Jimmer Effect! #2: San Diego State. #8: Colorado State.) For DU’s rise, I’d say a big chunk of the credit goes to the numerous hugely successful promotions whereby they brought in lots of school kids and their families for halftime recognition. Lots of free tickets given away, trying to secure some repeat customers. Oh, and of course the enormous publicity generated by my Pioneer Pulse blog. 🙂
