James Mejia has just endorsed Chris Romer in the Denver mayoral runoff. This strikes me as a surprise, and something of a big deal. This is the progressives’ favored candidate endorsing the establishment guy. As I wrote on Wednesday, Hancock needs Mejia’s base, and this makes that tougher.
