[This post is being published on April 11, 2022, but it’s back-dated to the date of the Wordle in question.]
Wordle burst onto the mainstream social-media scene while I was on vacation in Florida. Upon my return, I initially mocked it (with a nerdy Star Trek reference, natch). But then, on January 25, I finally gave in.
…so even though I knew “PANIC” had been the January 15 Wordle (per several tweets from friends) I still couldn’t resist starting with it:

Not too much else to say about this Wordle. I got a 4/6, which I now call a “par.” (Hat tip: @JohnEzekowitz and @AndyGlockner.)
But hey, Wordlebot thinks I did pretty well. Not bad for my first try:
