Probably an effect of the disastrous Rand Paul coverage a couple of weeks ago. Still, it’s interesting to note that the strong support and strong oppose numbers didn’t move all that much, which indicates that opinions shifted but didn’t harden.
The Tea Party has only gotten coverage, incrementally, for about 12 months. The more people know about the imbeciles that represent the party, the more Americans find them unfavorable. I’ll continue to give Rand Paul the benefit of the doubt because I like his dad so much, but if the teabaggers are paying Sarah Palin tons of dough to speak at their events then…. well they must be pretty stupid as well.
