Haven’t you heard that teams east of the Rockies can’t play teams west of the Rockies with only a day or two to adjust? Kirk Ferentz was using that excuse the entire week before Iowa lost to Arizona. (That, and “we don’t recruit there, so we don’t need to play there.”)
Yet Nebraska crushed Washington. Granted, that was an earlier start time, but still. I think Iowa’s gotten fat and happy on all of its 11 and 2:30 start times on the Big Ten Network.
