I’m pretty sure those who no longer want to subsidize NPR with taxpayer money feel that way despite programs like Car Talk, which obviously don’t raise concerns of bias the same way, say, NPR reporters like Nina Totenberg do (who makes comments at least as biased as Williams, if not more so, and are actually even more troubling — or should be — to the standard-makers at NPR if they were intellectually honest, since Williams, unlike Totenberg, is a news analyst whose job description allows for at least a certain amount of reporting and editorializing).
Wait, what has Totenberg ever said that compares to what Williams said? That when she sees Germans near a pizza oven it makes her nervous?
How about wishing that someone or their grandchildren get AIDS?
