Also, the mole people are going to conquer us someday. What other baseless claims have you got for us gahrie?

Nobody has ever won an argument about media bias, and nobody ever will, so let’s not bother. Instead, gahrie, rather than questioning your premise, let me just ask, what was the point of your comment? Even assuming you’re 100% correct, your statement is not really responsive to what Weigel said. He’s talking about the lack of self-reflection and self-awareness on the part of those who mocked the Obama “cult” but are now just as cultish about Palin as the worst of Obama’s “cultists.” And your response is… to talk about media bias? Huh? Okay. Also, Boise State should play for the national championship, Johnny Cash is awesome, and I like cheese.

Brendan #3 – gahrie *did* answer your question …

The overlap is very small if discernable …

The media wasis part of the Cult of Obama – and the media do not like anything Palin (well, except possibly Michael, but that’s something completely different) …

The rational electorate doesn’t like the Cult of Obama, especially now that they have seen him occupying the White House, whereas they *do* like what they are seeing of Bristol Palin on DWTS, and apparently they want Ms Palin and dancing partner to win (or at least come close) … and it’s not anywhere close to the Cult that is Obamamania – Bristol has yet to say things like “this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal”

Stll, as a good Democrat, you should appreciate folk who believe that it is important to vote early and to vote often …

My point is that both those who mock the cult of Obama, and those who reflexively support the Palins in all things are largely acting in reaction to the actions of the media and coastal elites, who are “guilty” of exactly the same “crime” in reverse.
