Well, summer is done and fall is here, so it’s time to take a look back at how I kept myself busy this summer. Other stuff, too, but for the sake of this piece, let’s… Read more »
A number of key non-conference games in the Pac-10 this week along with a number of conference match ups to kick off conference play for a number of teams this week. UCLA provided the only surprise win this week, but a number of games were surprising despite the final outcome. 1. Stanford 4-0 (1-0 Pac-10) LW: 1 Easily handled the… Read more »
Depending on how Pac-12 re-allignment shakes out, Brendan may or may not get his wish to have USC visit Colorado every other year, but he may get what must certainly be his next wish, the chance to see the University of Idaho basketball team in Denver every season! I had not even heard about the Beck Rally until about two weeks ago. Normally I look on these sorts of events with a mild curiosity, but rarely does this curiosity force me to get off my duff and actually make the 30-minute trip down to the Mall from my home in suburban Maryland, along the dreaded Green Line. But today… Read more »
Desert News blogger Jared Eborn says that a source has informed him that talks between BYU and the WAC continue and that ESPN is still involved.
