I probably risk getting a bit polemic if I do more than simply link to This story. As it goes to one of those forehead smacking obvious problems in society. The solution to which is very simple, helps the environment, helps our kids grow up to be responsible adults, as well as keeps them from leading sedentary car dependent lives…. Read more »
Seriously Just follow the link, there is really nothing to add to this.
With our new baby due to arrive any day (hour?) now, it goes without saying that I want to have my photographic ducks in a row. There will, after all, be a lot of moments and memories to photograph in the immediate future. But alas, my digital cameras have picked today, of all days, to fall apart on me. First… Read more »
Sarah Palin’s lawyers have begun issuing warnings and threats to bloggers and the media that they will not tolerate defamation. These threats apparently stem from some bloggers, including liberal Alaska blogger Shannyn Moore, offering rumors and speculation that Palin’s quick resignation may be due to federal investigation for embezzlement or other crimes. Get ready to hear the phrase “Sarah Palin didn’t even serve a full term as Alaska’s governor” over and over again, because it will among her opponents’ favorite refrains in the 2012 campaign, if she runs for president. She has just gift-wrapped, tied in a bow, and sent to Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, postage pre-paid, the perfect… Read more »
From the “Signs Of The Apocalypse” files: Joe Biden has arrived in Baghdad for a surprise visit to meet with Iraqi officials and U.S. troops. Yes, that’s right: Joe Biden managed to keep something secret. Ladies and gentlemen, the end is nigh. PANIC!!!
With another set of “Tea Parties” coming up on Saturday, I figured this would be a good time to re-post the satirical anthem that I published as a Facebook Note back in April. It’s sort of like a sequel to Becky’s and my Election Eve version of “One Day More” from Les Misérables. This one, though, is set to “Do… Read more »
