Pregnant pedestrian in Denver run over by car; driver flees; baby dies

Well, this is godawful: DENVER — A pregnant woman was run over in Denver’s Stapleton neighborhood Thursday and the woman’s baby did not survive. The accident was reported at 5:02 p.m., at the intersection of East 29th Avenue and Central Park Boulevard, according to Detective John White. The driver did not stop.
