So… the Pac-10 follows up last year’s 6-0 bowl season by going 2-5, including losses to perennial bowl choke artists OU and Ohio St. Ugh.
Well, at least the AP protest votes won’t be split with Cincy. The TCU-Boise winner will get them all. Could be quite a few of ’em, if TCU.
You see, this is what happens when the Pac-10 sends a team other than USC to a BCS bowl.

Have there ever been two less accomplished teams ranked #12 and #13 and playing each other in a New Year’s Day bowl than LSU and Penn St? Each lost to two good teams (plus one mediocre team, in LSU’s case), and beat nobody of note.
Go Ducks, Beat the Buckeyes, save the Pac-10 from utter bowl ignominy!
